Life Update:
As of 2020, I’ve started a new journey and career as an ENL (English as a New Language) teacher in the Hudson Valley. Although I’ve ‘retired’ as an advertising creative I aim to pass on all my learnings to eager new students who are willing to listen and I look forward to sharing all my expertise with them.
I will continue to pursue my art and aim to have gallery exhibits, click here to explore my creative endeavors.
Experience
I have over 18 years of experience in digital design with knowledge of CSS/HTML code, and 5 years of experience concepting 360º campaign ideas for major brands. I have led teams of designers and feel confident with my managerial skills.
NYC Agencies
When I moved to New York in 2006, I had the opportunity to work with notable agencies such as BBDO, Razorfish, McGarry Bowen, Campfire, and StrawberryFrog. The professional relationships fostered by these experiences led me to ever more challenging and fulfilling work.
Beginnings
I was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. I lived my teenage years in New Jersey and followed my artistic dreams to the West Coast during college. My upbringing has cemented a love of travel, and adventure, and a passion for cultural creativity.
Art vs. Advertising
I graduated with a B.F.A in Fine Arts which I believe has given me a great advantage when working with composition, art direction, and visual aesthetics with any brand. My goal is to come up with the best look and most intuitive user experience in all projects.
I find both art and advertising fascinating and utilize both whenever necessary. I am also well aware of their differences and respect them equally as their own entities.
As a fine artist, I've shown my artwork and photography in galleries across New York City. My artwork has also been included in art fairs around the world.
